WRITING AN OFFER
- Once you have found that perfect home, your agent writes up your offer.
- Writing a comprehensive, legal agreement that protects your best interests takes 1-2 hours.
- You write a ³good faith² deposit check. Your agent sends a copy of it with the offer, demonstrating to the seller that you are serious about your offer. The check is not cashed until there is a ratified contract.
PRESENTING THE OFFER
- Your Jacques Company agent prepares a presentation by highlighting the strengths of your offer and your strength as a buyer.
- The offer is presented to the sellerıs agent and the seller.
- The seller has a specified amount of time (decided by you and your agent) to respond to your offer.
- The sellers accept your offer, counter your offer, or reject it.
COUNTER OFFERS
- If there is a counter offer, your agent presents it to you for further discussion.
- You decide to accept the counter offer, counter the counter offer, or withdraw your offer entirely.
